Frequently Asked Questions
What are those dolls you collect?
I actually collect a variety of dolls. The brands I currently actively collect are Vance Project’s Pinky:st and Groove’s (formerly Jun Planning) Pullip collection. Within the Groove/JP family I also collect Dal, Taeyang and Byul. I also have a couple Pure Neemo dolls, one Mamachapp, mini dolls such as Dollcena and one mini Blythe. I am open to collecting other dolls along the way, it all depends on what I am interested in at the time. I also like collecting food and furniture minatures made by companies such as Re-ment and Megahouse.
Where did you purchase the furniture/props in your photos?
A majority of the props that I use in photo shoots with my toys are re-ment and megahouse. These can be purchased online (check my exit list for store names). Some also include Barbie brand furniture, items picked up randomly or home made. Use your imagination!
I also use scrapbook paper, or even gift wrap (anything colorful) as backdrops for my photos.
Where do you get the clothes for your dolls?
Some of my clothing are hand made (not by me), bought off etsy, ebay or private sellers. I also own a variety of name brand clothing such as Azone, Volks, Re-ment, or Pullip brand. Barbie clothing also fits Pullip dolls.
Where did you get [insert described wig] and what size is it?
I purchased a majority of my wigs from sites catering to ball-jointed dolls (BJDs) such as ndoll, leekeworld, cancanjseries, luts and iplehouse. All have good quality, but cost and shipping can get high. I recommend either joining a forum to take part in a group order to save on shipping. You will need to note that the dolls sold on these sites are very different from pullips, and the wigs may or may not look the same on a pullip.
Will you sell [insert said item] to me?
Thank you for your interest, but my answer is a firm “no”. None of toys featured on this site is for sale unless otherwise stated. Photos of toys, tea, stationary, etc. are for sharing purposes. On occasion I may have an item for sale, but I will specifically say that it is. If I do not state my doll is for sale, then please do not ask.
Where do you get your toys?
I get my toys from a variety of sources. For the most part I do a lot of my shopping at online retail stores such as HLJ.com (for pinkys and miniatures) and PullipStyle.com (for pullips & co.). I also tend to purchase online via listing sites like ebay, etsy or artfire. Please visit my exit page for more links to my favorite online stores.
Will you draw me a picture?
For the most part, I’m sorry, I don’t have the time for commissions or requests. However, you can keep your eyes out for a free drawing post which I may do when I have enough free time.
Do you take commissions or requests?
I do have a commission page, but for the most part I am closed. Occasionally I will re-open when I have more time on my hands.
